Coffee Commercial

In most commercials, a theme of compassion and kindness is what encourages people to do the same. A coffee is very simple to advertise for teenagers and adults. We came up with a concept of a mother preparing a coffee to her busy daughter. It is an act of love and care. As the daughter sips the coffee, she feels energized throughout the day. During the school day , the daughter feels more joy drinking the coffee that her mother prepared for her. She shares the coffee with her mother. The reason behind this concept is for people to be encouraged to drink coffee because it helps brighten up your day.

TECHNICAL CODES

In the camera angles and shots, it emphasizes the characters’ activities yet it focuses more on the preparation of the coffee. It highlights the brand Nescafe Gold. There was that one segment where the camera seems shaky. In the rest of the commercial, the camera angles and shots were steady. And the focus for every segment seems more appropriate because of the close-up and long shot.

The lighting of the video in the first setting was dim because the lights were not very bright and the curtains are closed. In the second setting , the lighting was brighter than the last one. The lights in the second setting were brighter than the last one. The walls reflect a bright lighting of the video. The amount of lighting symbolizes the level of exuberance of the character

The audio was very comprehensible for people to hear. The audio was very much appropriate for the viewers. The music for the whole video was a theme song of Nescafe of the advertisement itself. It is quite soothing for the ears of the viewers. It gives a relaxing tone. The other sounds in the video was clear as well such as the sounds of the coffee being prepared. The audio produces a good ambience for the video and the theme itself.

The editing of the video was simple and short. Special/visual effects were no longer included. The transition of each segment fits the video. It was not too long or too emphasized.

Evolution of Traditional to New Media

Generations have passed. Media evolves around us.There are many differences that we can compare from the old ages to present or to other decades. As we continue to grow as humans, we innovate or create new ideas for the betterment of the world. From the old times, we start to make media accessible for everyone. SHS Summit 2019: A Life-Changing Experience

SHS Summit 2019 was one of the best retreats I’ve ever experienced. There are few experiences that I had in this camp that are worth reminiscing as the days pass by. Having to bond with my team mates and cabin mates were amusing. In the cabin, we had our laughable moments. And in the team building, all of us became faithful for whatever challenge we may face on and showed a strength of team work. The last thing that I want to indicate are the sessions and the Crux night. I take heed of every word that the pastor said. His testimonies touched my heart. Crux night was the night where we unwind from all the pain and take a moment to relax and remember how much God has loved us. I enjoyed it so much. I sang from the bottom of my heart in the praise and worship. It truly is wonderful.

As the pastor said how impure the world is despite for Jesus dying in the cross for us, I felt guilty that I am a sinner. No matter how much I do to try to repent from my sins, it keeps on coming back. I feel like there is no hope before. But in this camp, I am optimistic that I can fix my relationship with God. I can finally continue my walk with God as I abstain from my sin. From the moment I surrendered something to the Lord, I know that his power is beneath me to fight the devil. I plan to fix my eyes to the Lord and do everything that he tells me to. I plan as well to bring God into our family. I plan to bring God to the people I love and to the people who need him. This is a new legacy that I am willing to take as I become a man of God.

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

-Ephesians 4:32

The countless times that God has forgiven us yet we still are sinners. If there is a chance for us to reconcile, we can do that by helping others. We can change by simply just giving our hearts to those who are in need. In this world, there are people who cannot help themselves. If we can’t give them what we want, we can give them what they need. Compassion and kindness is what makes humanity better. God would appreciate it if we help each other and make the world a better place. I felt ashamed of not doing my part in this society. If God has forgiven me, then I shall not abuse the freedom and the will that he has given me.

Media:World’s no.1 medium

Before, I perceive media as a place where most communications happens. A place where people can chat and receive the latest news from different sources. Media is where most people would regularly visit to catch up to the world.  Now, I perceive media as a source where information is brought throughout the world. As I think more about it, media is what keeps the world going. We use media as a source of communication. Without media, the world would be bleak and uninteresting. We want to receive the latest news and information because it is our type of entertainment. We are able to connect with countless people worldwide because of media. The world wouldn’t survive without media.

Media serves as a medium of communication for me. As a socially inept person, I don’t always to catch up with what’s going on with the world and with the people I know. As I discover media, I am able to connect with people and chat with them even if I am shy in the real world. I am able to catch up with some of the news worldwide so I could join conversations concerning current events.

There are some situations where I find this useful not only for the purpose of academics but also for the purpose in the real world. I recall some events in school wherein we had to give our own speech about the current events of our country as a project. In Oral Communication, we chose our own topic that we could give our speech about. Using media and information literacy in this situation would create an excellent outcome. In other words, media and information is purposeful for creating insights and catching up with people to converse topics concerning worldwide current issues or events.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
